The Mediterranea is a great property that we have now visited three times, and is centrally located for convenient access to Destin and communities/restaurants on 30A. The unit was very nice. It has a great view of the Gulf and the pool. There were only a few minor issues that maintenance quickly fixed (on a Saturday).

The place was perfectly described, the view from the condo was out of a book, BEAUTIFUL! Better than the pictures! Very quiet, clean, peaceful, the pool is so big it was never crowded. Parking was always available and so was the elevator. Checkin was extremely easy. Every bedroom has a private balcony, the main balcony in the living room is beautiful and spacious with plenty of seating. Plenty of extra clean linens which I totally appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Felt just like home away from home. I loved the convenient access to the beach, it was so hot during my stay that short walk made a world of a difference. Now only ONE vehicle is allowed so if you have more vehicles you will need to find offsite parking which isn't the easiest also no trailers or RVs allowed but thats almost every rental in Destin so plan ahead. But my family and I definitely be back!

This is a first class unit in every way.
Wonderful access to everything in Miramar Beach and Destin!
In addition to a couple minor housekeeping details I shared earlier, I would suggest a review of cooking and food prep items.
While most who can afford this unit will be dining out, there may be occasions that cooking is in order.
We did not find any large sauté pans, mixing bowls or medium size pots. Perhaps they have simply disappeared over time. Might be time for a kitchen review.
Otherwise, it’s perfect for long or short visits, and I highly recommend it!

The experience with the property managers was excellent. Communication was perfect. We had an issue with the dish washer leaking (turned out the drain pump was faulty) and one call was all it took to get quick action. The grounds were a work of art. All the people were great.

We had a great time in Destin at Mediterannea 410. Check in was easy, the condo was clean and welcoming and we loved the view from both the Master bedroom and the Living area. We visited many restaurants during our week long stay and got in a good amount of beach time too. This was just what we all needed and we are so glad we found Mediterannea 410. We are already planning our next trip!

Condo was very accommodating with a great view of the pool and ocean!! Not many families there during our stay so plenty of room at the pool. The beaches were beautiful and directly across the street. If I was asked to make 1 complaint, the only thing would be the masterbed was a little uncomfortable only because we seemed to roll to the middle. Other than that, it was perfect!!! Would definitely come back.

We just got back from another great vacation at Mediterranea 410. As always, this is a great unit, the view is spectacular, it’s just a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach and the unit is always well maintained. But this year, the owners have really stepped it up. There are several upgrades in the unit…but our favorite by far is the removal of the old TV cabinet and the new larger flat screen TV that took its place. We are looking forward to another trip to the beach and staying at this unit!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mediterannea in Destin. This was our third time using Newman-Dailey over the years and our experience has been great each time. It was our first stay at this complex and we were pleased with the unit and amenities. The beds were very comfortable, the pool area was fantastic, and the beach acces was great. We really enjoyed the chairs and umbrellas set out for us daily. When we plan our enxt trip to Destin we will use Newman-Dailey and, if there's a unit available, we will book at Mediterranea again. We did buy and leave some chip clips and a pizza slicer for the next visitors to use. Thank you so much for your friendly service!

Mediterranea 410D with ocean view spectacular! We will book through Newman-Dailey next year. The Destin discount card & 1 free activity per day was awesome! I would like recommend brighter lamps in bedrooms. The jacuzzi does need to be hot with warning for children. Thank you for helping our family have beautiful quality vacation. My children said it was the best ever!!!

We have been visiting Miramar Beach for 25 years, all with the help of Newman-Dailey. We first stayed as guests in Blue Surf and Sand Dollar. We then became owners in Ciboney for 13 years and now we are guests in Mediterranea. We wouldn't dream of vacationing at a beach other than Miramar Beach. The sand is so soft and white, the water so blue and calm. We eat out every night of our vacation and have our favorite places to eat including WhalesTail, Surf Hut, La Famiglia, Capt. Dave's, Crab Trap and Louisiana Lagniappe.
We enjoyed staying at Mediterranea. The size was perfect and very close to the beach.
Can't wait until next year!

Very clean and nice unit!! We had a wonderful stay! One minor thing, could use just a couple more kitchen items like a bottle opener other than the one on the wine opener, and some clips to close bags of chips, etc. Thank you for helping us have a relaxing stay in Destin. My favorite part was spending time on the balcony every morning for breakfast and coffee. The ocean views from every unit at Mediterranea are gorgeous!!

Our recent stays at the Mediterranea, made us decide to invite the whole family. The accommodations are wonderful and the location cannot be beaten. We just missed peak season, so while the prices were better, the beach service had stopped and the pool was chilly, but we could not have had a better time. Starting with our check in, we were later than we thought but ND had everything we needed in their "after hours box." The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We stayed at Mediterranean unit 410D and it was fantastic. We absolutely loved the Master suite and the stunning view every morning! The first morning we were there we saw two dolphins! We weren't right on the beach, but it was like we were. My opinion, we had a better view than if we'd been sitting right on the beach. We did not want to leave, we actually added an extra night!

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Mediterranea and it is by far our favorite complex in Destin. The condo was extremely clean with comfortable beds and had everything we needed. We loved the view of both pool and the ocean. The pool is great, large and never overcrowed with plenty of chairs. The hottub was not working correctly while we were there so hopefully that has been repaired. We had two teenage girls with us and they also loved the location. We were out of the most crowded beach area but close enough to take a few steps and be anywhere. My family would definitly recommend this unit.

The service I received was great as always. The home was really nice. The pictures don't say enough! It was very spacious and clean. Everything I needed was there. The pool and gym was also a plus. The area was quite and it was literally across the street from the sandy beach which was also seen from the balcony. I liked the easy access to the beach and the gated community the most. The only con I have was very small which was the floors seemed like they weren't cleaned as well as it could have been otherwise it was absolutely flawless! I would definitely book this unit again.

We stayed in 410 D for a Christmas holiday. It is very nice. There were 2 adults and 3 kids who's ages were 22, 10 and 6. Mediterranea is one of the nicest complexes in Destin. It is not crowded, never feel like you have to fight for space at the pool. The condo it self feels like home. It is not the best view of the beach in the complex, but it is still great. A very peaceful place, but close to plenty of all Destin has to offer. Pompano Joe's across the street is delicious, I recommend at least one meal there. The beach is great, of course.
My only complaint is the kitchen is not adequately stocked. I don't expect a gourmet set up, but a stock pot and colander would be nice for boiling shrimp.
This was my second time in 410D and will definitely return. Also Newman Daily has always met my families needs, and I feel like they are the best value.

We love Destin. Our favorite place to stay is the Mediterranea. This was the first time we stayed in 410D. We were not disappointed. It's much prettier than the pictures on the web. It's very comfortable, and the Gulf view is breath taking. We loved it, and will be back same time next year. As always, working with ND was a pleasure and I wouldn't think of using any other agency.

Great stay at 410D

The pictures on the site don't do 410D justice. Very clean, great taste in decorating, and overall a place we felt at home in while on vacation. A plus is they had free wireless. Huge for me since I'm in sales so I was able to keep work stress from building up while I was away for a week. Pool was great, beach was great, and we started to figure out how to make our way around Destin towards the end.
It was our first trip to Destin and we will be back.

We rented 410D for a 7 days. Check in is at 3 pm, we arrived early, but ND called promptly at 3 and gave us our room key code. Our packet was missing the key to the gym, but ND supplied us a key promptly. Check-in took about 2 minutes, check-out took 5 seconds (just drop off the keys).
The condo was very nice, comfortable beds, big master bath, and a nice main balcony view of the pool and ocean. The furniture was a bit cheap (expected), but the beads were comfortable and the appliances were like-new. Nice gym and pool. Easy access to the beach with reserved chairs and umbrella and Pompano Joe's yards away (lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 adult beverages = $80 with a nice tip). Getting to the beach early the first day and tipping the guys well will help reserve a good spot during your stay. I don't think tipping was expected, but it was genuinely appreciated (unlike in Mexico).
We loved the room and the underground parking. The coded gates made us feel secure and the pool uncrowded. My only annoyance was the security guard enforcing a "no drink near the pool" rule. I can understand no glass, but come on. An oddity was a pool card. We had to sign a waver for $50 if we lost it, but we never once even needed it the card.
Tips: 1-If you arrive and your room is ready, check for necessities before you go shopping. We left enough cleaning supplies, paper towels, TP, trash bags, beach toys, etcetera for at least another week. 2-Take lots of pictures of your kids (if you have them) while at the beach.
